Here’s No Man’s Sky making an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

US talk show host Stephen Colbert occasionally has video game segments on his show, and the most recent edition of The Late Show just hosted Hello Games’ Sean Murray. He got to discuss and show off about eight minutes of the forever-upcoming-just-give-us-a-damn-release-date-already No Man’s Sky.

For anyone who perhaps isn’t that au fait  with the latest news about video games and the technology powering some of them, the concept, scale and technicality behind No Man’s Sky can be a little overwhelming. Colbert is amazed by what he’s shown – most people would be! He was so amazed that The Late Show named this YouTube clip of the interview “Sean Murray May Have Replaced Morgan Freeman As God”.

There’s no new gameplay on show, but there are new planets and new aliens/animals. Hell, there’ll be new planets and new aliens/animals on display EVERY TIME you play the game. Check it out, even if it’s just for the great discussion about what we can expect, and to see the ridiculous names they give the new planets, star systems, and animals they discover while demoing.
