Video game documentary team Magnum Opus Games has already put together some compelling videos about some of the more interesting developers in the industry. You might recall that amazing Hotline Miami documentary from May this year, The Hotline Miami Story? Well, the Magnum Opus Games team is back and this time they’re focusing their cameras on Telltale Games.

Telltale Games really needs no introduction. Their stable of licensed IPs is vast, ranging from Game of Thrones to Monkey Island and The Walking Dead. Nobody does episodic, narrative gaming quite like Telltale does it, and that’s why they’ve become somewhat of an industry icon over the years.

“We’re not entirely sure how they did it,” a representative from Telltale said, “but [Magnum Opus] managed to condense over 10 years worth of history and over 100 episodes into a brisk 30 minute documentary that examines what it’s been like to work on these episodic games under one roof from San Rafael, California since 2004.”

You can watch the whole documentary below. It’s really good and provides some wonderful insight into what goes on at the developer. If you’re a fan of Telltale Games, or you’re a fan of maybe just one of their episodic series, then it’s well worth checking out.
