I rather enjoyed Disney Infinity 3.0, but I realise that an enormous amount of that enjoyment was thanks to the fact that it was a Star Wars game. Since the original starter pack was released in August, we’ve had additional Play Sets that expand the prequel trilogy levels to include the original Star Wars trilogy. Now, with a new movie poised for release in mid December this year, Disney Infinity 3.0 is about to get a Play Set for The Force Awakens.

Disney has released the first trailer for the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens Play Set. In it you’ll see the series’ trademark aesthetic versions of new characters Kylo Ren, Rey, and Finn. We can assume that the events in the Play Set will be loosely based off the events of the unreleased film.

The Force Awakens Play Set will be released on 18 December, which is the US date for the release of the new movie as well. We get Star Wars Episode VII two days early here in South Africa, on 16 December. You can check out the trailer for the new Play Set after the jump.

The Play Set will include figurines of Rey and Finn, with Kylo Renn and Poe Dameron sold separately.
