Dying Light: The Following trailer teases story details
The long awaited DLC for Dying Light, the first-person parkour / zombies / open world action game released in early 2015, has been slowly having more and more light shed on it. A trailer titled: “What Mysteries Await?” hit YouTube recently; hit the jump for more details.
The trailer shows off fairly little in terms of story, and nothing of new gameplay. In it, a severely injured man is babbling about a cult he escaped from to Dying Light’s protagonist, Kyle Crane. Crane has also recovered a map detailing a way out of the quarantined city of Harran, which is exactly what a group of survivors with dwindling resources desperately needs. Apparently, the cult the injured man escaped from has some kind of cure, and Crane decides to investigate this further.
Dying Light: The Following releases on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 9th, 2016. According to its official website, it takes place in a non-urban environment that’s the size of Harran, and awesome dune buggies are the best way to navigate the landscape.
