Yarn-based platformer Unravel is so intensely pretty that whenever it appears I can’t bring myself to look away from it. It’s as if developer Coldwood knows this, because they keep releasing videos of the damn thing.

In the latest dev diary for the game, creative director Martin Sahlin details the seed of inspiration that led to the game’s eventual existence, and how its attractively stringy physics tie into the game’s emotional core.

It’s all very sweet, and it makes me wish everything in life was born as the result of a camping trip. Except actual children, because there are too many people on this planet as it is. ANYWAY! Have a gander at this:
