If you’ve never seen a SFX power supply before, be prepared to see a slew of them coming out this year. While relatively few PSU vendors have had SFX power supplies in the past, more and more case designs necessitate the use of one, both to save on space and make cable management less of a pain. At CES 2016, Corsair showed off the SF600, a SFX-style PSU with a top-end rating of 600 watts of continuous power delivery. It’s a fully modular design as expected, and uses a 92mm fan for cooling. No price was announced, and Corsair expects to have the SF600 and other designs available further into 2016. The SF600 first appeared in Corsair’s Bulldog desktop chassis, and was never expected to be available outside as a separate item.
