Yes, yes we all know that PlatinumGames is making a TMNT game. It’s been a really badly kept secret for some time now; in the last few days there have been a few leaks that we’re sure many of you have spied across the vast expanse of the Interwebs. But now it’s all totally official thanks to a “reveal trailer” (how sweet; just try to act surprised for Activision PR’s sake, ok?).
All the staples are there: Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael all wielding signature weapons and catch-phrases. Shredder is there, Bebop, Rocksteady, some weird shark dude that I don’t remember from the 90s cartoons but can totally get behind, and April O’Neil looking decidedly less like Megan Fox and more like her yellow-jumpsuit- clad self. Whew!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is out on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One at some point during SA’s winter time. Reasons to be cautiously optimistic: it’s the Ninja Turtles and they’re awesome, and PlatinumGames are damn solid devs behind some cult classics like both Bayonettas and MadWorld.
