The PlayStation Store is having an RPG sale

Who doesn’t like role-playing games? I’m sure there must be some people out there who don’t like the genre. Come to think of it, this is an awful way to intro this news piece.

Anyway, for those of you who do like RPGs, the PlayStation Store is currently having one heck of a sale. Check out some highlights after the break.

The belle of the ball may be Bloodborne: Game of the Year Edition, which has been marked down 40% to R479.40. This edition includes the base game as well as The Old Hunters DLC, which can be bought separately for R179.50 (also a 40% discount). The recently released JRPG Tales of Zestiria gets a 50% discount for both its PS3 and PS4 versions, bringing the price down to R299.50 and R374.50 respectively.

If Western RPGs are more your style, then you can pick up the highly-addictive Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition for PS4 or PS3, priced at R449.50 and R249.50 respectively. Other offerings include Divinity: Original Sin – Enhanced Edition, Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut and Lords of the Fallen, to name a few.

Nearly every core Final Fantasy game except for XI, XII, and XIII has been marked down 50%. This includes all the PS1 games, as well as the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward. It’s really a significant sale, and you should check it out for yourself. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go “borrow” a credit card…
