Dark Horse is producing The Witcher 3 figurines and collectibles

We adore The Witcher 3 here at NAG Online, but unless you managed to fork out vast sums of money for that glorious Witcher 3 collector’s edition, then the chances are that your nerd-cave shelves are conspicuously devoid of Witcher statues and figurines. Ours certainly are; ALL the sadface.gif.

Good news though: Dark Horse has partnered with CD PROJEKT (yet again – they’ve already done this to bring a series of comics) to bring a range of official The Witcher 3 merchandise. The first wave of prototypes were just unveiled at the New York Toy Fair, which winds down today.

High quality figurines of Geralt, Ciri, Triss, Yennefer, and Eredin are all coming to a geek shop near you. Hopefully. Maybe. Assuming they arrive in South Africa. Check out all of the prototypes after the jump.

They’re looking awesome, aside from perhaps Yen’s face… which looks a little weird. As for the rest: great! There’s some incredible detail on these things considering their asking price is pegged at $30, or about R6 billion R470.

In addition to these neat, 9″ figures, Dark Horse has plans to release loads of other Witcher-y themed goodies. According to Polygon there are plans for “statues, busts, and action figures; prop and jewelry replicas; and barware, stationery, and other collectibles.” Sign me up for a set of Seven Cats Inn branded beer tankards, please!
