Giblets: AMD announces Hitman gaming bundle for GPUs and CPUs

AMD has announced a new game bundle for 2016, the first of the Radeon Rewards giveaways for this year. AMD has been a long-time partner with Square Enix, bundling games like Deus Ex: Human Revolution with new GPUs to showcase the capabilities of the two products together. Starting today, copies of Hitman will be included with AMD Radeon R9 390 and R9 390X graphics cards, as well as AMD’s six-core and eight-core processors from the FX family. No APUs were included in this promotion, which seems a bit odd because this would be a good showcase for the performance of those chips. Hitman, developed by IO-Interactive and published by Square Enix, will include DirectX 12 features such as asynchronous compute, and will be compatible with 21:9 aspect ratio displays.

AMD announced that the Hitman bundle will run intil 30 April 2016, while vouchers need to be redeemed before 30 June 2016. Hitman is set to launch on 11 March 2016 on the Windows PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One platforms.
