The Batmobile is headed to Rocket League

I’M BATMAN. I’m also mildly obsessed with Rocket League at the moment. Michael and I are admittedly quite terrible at it, but we still load it up almost every day to embarrass ourselves in front of complete strangers by scoring own goals (really impressive ones too, the sort that we could NEVER repeat if we tried, but own goals nonetheless) and completely missing the ball at the worst possible moments. It’s pretty great.

What’s also pretty great is that Psyonix’s mega-hit game of sports-‘n’-driving is soon getting a fresh pack of DLC. And it includes the Batmobile. Oh yes. The Batmobile.

Doesn’t that look delicious? Okay, sure, as with the DeLorean that was added to the game in the Back to the Future pack, the Batmobile is entirely superficial in terms of what it brings to the proceedings. But just look at it!

As its name implies, Rocket League‘s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Car Pack is designed to coincide with the upcoming release of Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman movie, which is set to hit cinemas next month. The Batmobile in the game is obviously a replica of the one that Bats will use in the film, in case you’re wondering. The DLC also includes three fresh antenna flags: one each for Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman.

The Dawn of Justice Car Pack is due to arrive on March 8th and it should cost somewhere in the region of 20-50 rand. If you’ve not yet given Rocket League a go, you really should. You can grab it via Steam here, and it’s also available for PS4 and XBO.
