Torn Banner Studios, the team behind the hit multiplayer game Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, has just released a teaser trailer for their next project. It’s called Mirage: Arcane Warfare, and it looks like it’s an alluringly different, more fantasy-inspired take on Chivalry‘s much-loved multiplayer formula.
If you can’t yet watch the above teaser, know that Mirage: Arcane Warfare brings magic and spells to the table. It looks as though the majority of the gameplay will still involve the tactical first-person hack-‘n’-slashing that Chivalry fans are used to, except now there’s a healthy dose of ice spells, fire spells and explosive area-of-effect spells. The aesthetic change is appealing too, swapping the medieval Europe look for an attractive Arabian Nights style.
Torn Banner Studios promise that more details and a full trailer will arrive on March 9th, and that Mirage: Arcane Warfare will launch sometime in 2016.
