Torn Banner Studios, the team behind Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, recently released a teaser for their next project, Mirage: Arcane Warfare. The game now has a full trailer and a detailed FAQ detailing more, um, details about the game. If you like magic carpets and spell-casting minotaurs, then delve below for more details.

The trailer showcases some vicious competitive multiplayer action between two teams representing two factions. Each character has a unique design which reflects their skill set, and also shows off a great deal of creativity. It looks like each class will have a mix of melee abilities as well as magical skills.

The FAQ at Torn Banner Studios’ website goes into more detail about the game’s mechanics and story. The plot centres on two factions: the Bashrahni Emirate and the Azar Cabal, who’re engaged in a civil war over the use of magic and such. This forms the background of the missions, which will be objective-based. Torn Banner has promised that “classic multiplayer game modes” will also feature.

They’re aiming for a 2016 release date and presently are only developing the game for PC. Head over to their website if you want to sign up for the beta.
