Try make sense of this Let It Die trailer

Let it die

Let It Die, the upcoming game from Grasshopper Manufacture and potential madman Goichi “Suda51” Suda, has been kept in the shadows since its 2014 reveal. Now, a new trailer has been released to show off a little more of the game, but it honestly serves more to confuse than to reveal. Seriously, just check it out. I don’t know what’s going on.

Bizarre, right? It’s to be expected, seeing as Suda51’s previous works include Shadows of the Damned and Lollipop Chainsaw. In an interview with GameSpot, Suda describes it as a “crazy action survival game” and says it “will push the envelope for asynchronous, free-to-play games”. If I had to describe it, I would call it DayZ meets Dark Souls. We can expect more information and gameplay footage soon, as Suda promised the game will be shown off at PAX East 2016, which runs from the 22nd to the 24th of April.

Let It Die is set to launch sometime in 2016, exclusive to PS4.
