“Seven is a Thief-inspired, 3D isometric RPG, in which you take on the role of a lone traveller. You’re going to explore a nonlinear, sandbox world – the Empire of Vetrall.” These are all words that make me feel warm and fuzzy inside, and they’re used to describe Seven on its official website. Just in case you need even more reason to get hyped about it, the game is currently in development by some of the people who helped bring us the masterpiece that is The Witcher 3.

The site boasts that “classic isometric gameplay is going to be redefined” and that the team behind the game “have created a parkour climbing system that gives you the ability of free-traversing obstacles, of any height, horizontally and vertically.”
As for the scenery, the game will take place in a “beyond post-apocalyptic environment” which, as you’ll gather from some light snooping around the site, probably boils down to modern conveniences, now with added magic. It sounds like a blast, and the promise of “difficult moral choices with unforeseen consequences” makes my entire body tingle with anticipation. The trailer is below, and it’s filled to the brim with awesome. [I’m not sure you’ve built this up enough. Yes, this is sarcasm. – Ed.]
No solid release date has been announced yet, but publisher IMGN.PRO is aiming for a release sometime in the second half of 2016.
