Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC gets a trailer, includes fog, scary fish things

Land ho! Fallout 4‘s third bit of DLC, titled Far Harbor, now has a trailer, and it’s a doozy.
The game’s first two DLC offerings, Automatron and Wasteland Workshop, were pretty good, albeit small additions to the game, but neither of them comes close to matching the amount of new content that will be added by Far Harbor when it drops later this month. As the trailer’s description explains, as well as being Bethesda’s biggest add-on ever in terms of landmass, Far Harbor will also be “filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons”. “Become more powerful with new, higher-level armor and weapons. The choices are all yours,” it reads.
If you’re more into the story side of things, you’ll be happy to learn that Far Harbor should have that covered. “In Far Harbor, a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?”
The trailer is below, but be warned – Valentine makes a short yet hugely ominous appearance.
If you don’t feel like shelling out cash for DLC, why not check out some of the great work modders have been doing right here. And while you’re at it, read up about the official Creation Kit beta over here.
Far Harbor will arrive on 19 May and will set you back around R400.
