Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s price is ridiculous

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare won’t be out for another few months, but that doesn’t mean you can’t pre-order it if you’re itching to get your hands on it. If you do plan to pre-purchase the game, you should be aware that it’ll cost you MANY RANDS (more or less).
It’s unfortunate, because if you’re a die-hard fan of the franchise, the local pricing for Infinite Warfare might just be enough to kill your excitement. Price after the jump because it’s too large to fit here.
Are you sitting down? No? Well, grab a chair, I’ll wait. Comfortable? Good. Pre-ordering Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will cost you R1,199. That’s how much you’ll need to shell out for a copy of the standard edition of the game. If you’re like the rest of us and would also like to grab a copy of the remastered Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, you should opt for the Deluxe Edition (since it won’t be sold separately) that includes both games for a whopping R1,899. These prices only apply to XBO and PS4 at this time. The PC version doesn’t seem to have a pre-order price yet, but don’t expect it to be a whole lot cheaper (if at all) than the console versions.
That’s a lot of cheese.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is expected to drop on 4 November for PC, PS4 and XBO.
