Since its announcement at Ubisoft’s E3 2015 press conference, things have been quiet about the upcoming Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands (the name just rolls right off the tongue). Fortunately, we have a new trailer to show off more details about the game. Hit the jump for more.
The trailer shows off a decent vertical slice of gameplay. Players assume the role of a Ghost, a highly-trained American operative working deep in enemy territory. The four-man Ghost team is on the trail of the Santa Blanca, a South American drug cartel. To take them down, the Ghosts are given carte blanche to assaulting the cartel’s assets and members. The game all takes place in an apparantly massive open-world, with mountains, dried lakes, and cities to explore on foot or by vehicle. It’s also entirely playable in four-player co-op. If I had to sum it up, I’d say it’s like Just Cause and The Division had quadruplets.
Currently, Ghost Recon Wildlands doesn’t have a release date, but Ubisoft has promised more details to be revealed at E3 2016. The game is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
