BioShock: The Collection kindly announced for PC, PS4, and Xbox One

Is a man not entitled to a classic trilogy of games, remastered and relaunched for current-gen platforms? “Yes,” says 2K Games. “Gosh, that’s actually a smashing idea.” Already the world’s worst-kept secret, the company has finally, officially confirmed that BioShock: The Collection is a thing, and will be out later this year. The bundle includes BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite plus all the single-player DLC and a “never-before-seen video series with commentary from Kevin Levine”. Yes please, Mr Bubbles.

It looks like the actually rather good BioShock 2 multiplayer stuff hasn’t made it in for some reason, but for those of you who missed visiting Rapture and Columbia the first times around, this is mandatory gaming. For everybody else, oh, it’s probably also worth another go.

The complete list of Biogoodies includes:

  • BioShock
  • BioShock 2
  • BioShock 2: Protector Trials DLC
  • BioShock 2: Minerva’s Den DLC
  • BioShock Infinite
  • BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds & Columbia’s Finest Packs
  • BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 1 & 2 DLC

It’s out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on 16 September.
