Oh, you like games? This guy likes games more than you. He likes them so much, in fact, that’s he’s bought 5029 games and 3372 DLC add-ons on Steam, and at a dizzying level 1049, he’s the highest level user on the whole service. Steam’s entire catalogue features around 9500 or so games, which means PalmDesert technically owns most of them.

That’s… impressive? Terrifying? A bit of both, maybe.

According to his profile, he’s 35 and lives Tokyo, Japan, and plays mostly between 20:00 and 01:00, local time. His favourite game is Rocksmith 2014 with 569 hours clocked, but at 943 hours on record, Left 4 Dead 2 is his most played. He’s got 3073 badges, 31444 cards, and owns 64333 trade items, and he’s made over 500,000 transactions on the marketplace. HALF A MILLION TRANSACTIONS. That’s like a full time job on Wall Street.

Much like everybody else, though, about two thirds of the games in his personal library have never even been played. So don’t feel so bad.
