Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare‘s marketing campaign has been an uphill battle right from the announcement. Fans reacted to the highly futuristic setting with disdain, to say the least, with the reveal trailer becoming one of the most down-voted videos on YouTube. However, it looks like the game is slowly clawing its way back into gamers’ favour, and a new trailer has been released to highlight its gameplay.
The video opens with key members of Infinity Ward discussing the story of Infinite Warfare. They stress that story is highly important to the game, calling it “the game [they’ve] always wanted to make”. Players embody Captain Reyes of the UNSA and combat a radical militant group called SetDef. The video expands on the level seen in the reveal trailer as Reyes fights through the streets of Geneva with his squad, before boarding his fighter craft and joining a dogfight in space.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch on 4 November for PC, PS4 and XBO.
