This Week In Gaming [Video Roundup]

no mans sky

Greetings NAGuxeens, and thanks for coming back for This Week In Gaming. I’m writing this to you FROM THE PAST on Thursday night, as tomorrow I’m going for a romantic getaway with Dane Remendes. He of course thinks its a “fun weekend away with friends” but I plan on seducing him. Don’t worry, he never reads this stuff. Anyhow, due to my busy schedule of wearing unbuttoned shirts and tequila shots, I’ve had to deliver the abbreviated version of TWIG – the video special. Be sure to tune in next week for your regularly scheduled programming.

So, FIFA gets another game this year. Soccer. Cooool. Is anything different? Would anyone notice? Check out this gameplay trailer and find out!

Civilization has a somewhat fanatic following, and the sixth game is in the pipeline. And hey look, you can be French, monsieur.

Have you ever wanted to play Dark Souls 3, but found yourself at a children’s birthday party? Now you can, with this really bizarre LittleBigPlanet 3 mod.

No Man’s Sky arrives soon, so here’s some more gameplay to get the hype bubbling.

Well, that was short wasn’t it? Here’s a nice meaty chunk of gameplay – except for Total War: Warhammer. Don’t give me that look, it’s a cool game, promise. Have a look.

Watch Dogs was, let’s be honest, pretty underwhelming. Ubisoft is hoping to spice things up with a new protagonist in the sequel, which you can see in this video.

The new DOOM is getting another free update and some not-so-free DLC. Nice.

It’s a Doom back to back! Except this mod is for a, um, slightly more “vintage” Doom.

Dead Rising is still going apparently, and getting a fourth instalment to boot. Check out this new dev diary that looks at protagonist Frank West.

Vermintide, the Warhammer spinoff, hit some unlikely success on PC as a game that’s a lot better than it’s ridiculous premise would suggest. It’s getting the console treatment now with a release date of October 4th for PS4 and Xbox One. Here’s some gameplay.
