In case you somehow missed it, Sony and Microsoft have been doing this thing where they give subscribers of PS Plus and Xbox LIVE Gold free games every month. Well, sort of free. I mean, you’re still technically paying for the games.
Not to be outdone by Microsoft’s Mirror’s Edge offering, Sony has announced the games PS Plus members can grab gratis during September. It’s a fairly diverse mix, with games that’ll appeal to almost everyone.
To start things off, let’s take a look at the two heavy-hitters. Lords of the Fallen is a game I’m told is kind of like Dark Souls, so I bought it, and it’s been sitting in my backlog ever since. I’ll probably play it someday. Maybe. The second headliner is Journey, which is one of two PlayStation exclusives (the other being Bloodborne) that legitimately make me consider using my beer money to buy a PS4.
Subscribers will also be treated to four other titles including the lukewarm Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, a Move title called Datura, quirky puzzler Badland, and Amnesia: Memories, a visual novel with a hint of adventure.
