With October almost upon us, PlayStation has just announced its lineup of free games for PS Plus subscribers. Undoubtedly, the titles for PS4 may be some of the most appealing the service has offered in recent memory. Hit the jump for more.
The headlining acts are Transformers: Devastation and Resident Evil for PS4. To clarify, that’s the remastered version of the game, not the PS1 original. These titles are actually more related than you’d realise: Transformers’ tagline is “More than meets the Eye”, and Resident Evil takes place in a spooky mansion filled with secrets. In other words, there is more than meets the eye to the mansion. Don’t let your minds get blown all at once.
The PS3 is getting Mad Riders, an arcade style offroad racing game, and From Dust, a simulator-game from Ubisoft where you get to chuck lava at your villagers. PS Vita users get Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~, which I’m going to assume is Japanese, and Actual Sunlight. That’s the name of the game, it’s not actually digitised sunlight.
The lineups are typically available in the first week of the month, so that gives you time to download September’s lineup, or sign-up for the service.
