D.Va from Overwatch is being added to StarCraft II’s multiplayer announcer list

Which is funny because, according to her official character bio, she used to be a pro StarCraft player. Now Hana “D.Va” Song is obviously saving the world and stuff with her neon pink mech, but she’s getting a new part time job as one of a bunch of new multiplayer announcers bundled with the StarCraft II‘s incoming patch 3.7, also including Abathur, Alarak, Artanis, Kerrigan, Raynor, and Swann.

For the moment, the D.Va voice pack is available exclusively to BlizzCon attendees and virtual ticket buyers but will be made available to purchase separately at “a later date”.

You can listen to some preview voice samples in the link up top, which include insightful commentary like “Your base is under attack. Stay cool!” and “Zerg can’t do that without creep. They’re not that OP!” and the inevitable “Nukes ready! NERF THIS!” because, you know, she’s 19 and kind of a dork.
