As you can probably tell, a lot of us (especially Tarryn) are really stoked for Titanfall 2‘s release later this week. The hype-o-meter hasn’t fallen below 11 since that first teaser trailer dropped in April.
The sequel has a single-player campaign, and throughout it we’ll get to experience a more fulfilling, emotional relationship between man and murderous death-bot than what was seen in the original game. Titanfall 2‘s launch trailer focuses on this camaraderie.
Unlike the other trailers, this particular one doesn’t focus all that much on actual gameplay. At this point, it doesn’t really need to. Instead, the developers decided to blend live-action elements with pre-rendered footage to create… one hell of a thing.
Titanfall 2 is out on 28 October for PC, PS4 and XBO.
