Ahead of the game’s release next week, Activision has dropped the minimum system requirements for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare over on Steam, confirming that I probably couldn’t play it on PC even if I wanted to. Unless I also wanted my PC to melt, obviously. Does insurance cover melted PCs? Would asking that question on a public website before my PC “accidentally” melted constitute intention to commit insurance fraud? What if I published this article under Dane’s name instead?
Eh. I was going to play it on console anyway.
For everybody else, though, here’s what’s going to get your rocket to the moon:
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit or later
Processor: Intel Core i3-3225 @ 3.30GHz or equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 70 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 11 Compatible
Game’s out on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on 4 November.
