So, you know Nightdive Studios’ nostalgia-o-rama System Shock remake? It’s not coming out in December 2017 anymore, as previously expected. But you know that already, because it’s up top in the headline. Instead, according to an update on the game’s Kickstarter campaign page, it’s coming out in the more sort of, like, around about “Q2 2018”, or sometime between April and June. Not much of a delay, but next Christmas is totally ruined.
The same update also reveals that the team is already at work on a vertical slice of the game, to “prove out our pipelines and narrow down how the game should and shouldn’t play”, so we should see something soon enough. In the meantime, though, there’s a demo on Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store.
It’s out, uh, whenever on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, and PS4.
