“I’ve made a huge mistake.”

There were a lot of Overwatch-related announcements made at BlizzCon earlier this month, including the long overdue reveal of Sombra. Along with the new hero, Blizzard also announced that a new map called Oasis was on the way, and as of yesterday, that very map is playable on the game’s PC PTR (public test region).

The map is made up of a metropolitan area that’ll see players fight it out for control to see who comes out on top. But more importantly than that, Oasis sees the inclusion of jump pads that’ll help less manoeuvrable heroes get to higher ground, and even includes fun, murderous death cars. More info and the offending vehicles in action below.

“Oasis is one of the world’s most advanced cities, a shining jewel rising from the Arabian Desert,” reads the game’s latest (in development) patch notes. “A monument to human ingenuity and invention, researchers and academics from around the region came together to found a city dedicated to scientific progress without restraints. The city and its inhabitants are governed by the Ministries, a collection of brilliant minds who possess many secrets that have attracted the interest of powerful organizations from around the world.”

Or, you know, a map that allows skillful Lucio players to push unsuspecting players into oncoming traffic. I mean, I fall off the map and kill myself enough already, so could you just… not?
