GOG’s winter sale is live, Steam Winter Sale dates leaked

Warm as balls in South Africa? What are you on about? It’s winter, can’t you tell!? Glad we cleared that up. Since it is in fact winter, it’s just about time for another round of massive sales!

First in line with their “Monstrous Winter Sale” is GOG. The sale has a ton of games currently going for ridiculously low prices, with a lot more deals on the way. Oh, and you can pick up Neverwinter Nights for 100% off. Careful not to spend ALL your money though, as Steam’s winter sale will also be kicking off later this month. Hit the jump for DEEEEEALS.

For those of you unfamiliar with how GOG’s sales work, every day new titles receive the discount treatment, while other already discounted games drop out. Pricing on the site is in American dollars, but you can use this converter to see what the prices are in rand. Current (totally objective) highlights include: The Witcher: Enhanced Edition for $1.49 (-85%), The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings – Enhanced Edition for $2.99 (-85%), The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for $19.99 (-50%), Darksiders Warmastered Edition for $3.99 (-80%), Dragon Age: Origins – Ultimate Edition for $9.99 (-50%), and if you act within the next 24 hours or so, you can pick up Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition entirely for free.

GOG’s Monstrous Winter Sale officially commenced yesterday and will run until 11 December.

But wait, there’s more! The Steam Autumn Sale finished up just three days ago, and now it seems we’re in for yet another one really soon. First leaked on NeoGAF and later confirmed by Eurogamer, Steam’s winter sale is set to go live on 22 December and will last all the way until 2 January.
