Giblets: Rage-quitting in Street Fighter 5 will soon result in penalties, reveals leak

Ah, rage-quitting. We’ve all done it. We’re not proud of it, but sometimes it just happens, you know? Well, according to a leak over on NeoGAF, players who rage-quit, or “disconnect mid-match” in Street Fighter 5 will soon face real consequences for doing so.

The leak includes screenshots that show that players will incur penalties “for disconnecting during a network match, including LP reduction and temporary matchmaking restrictions.” And if that wasn’t bad enough, it looks like there’s also some sweet humiliation involved as “special icons will be displayed on the Fighter Profiles of players who frequently disconnect.” The screenshots also reveal a couple of other cool additions coming to the game, which you can check out here.
