Hey, remember last year when From Software added more Dark Souls III to Dark Souls III? I do. It was glorious. Well, it’s finally happening again. That’s right, Dark Souls III is set to receive its second and final bit of Dark Souls III in the form of an expansion called The Ringed City this March, and judging by the announcement trailer below, it’ll be super-mega-ultra glorious.

“At the close of the Age of Fire, as the world ends and all lands converge upon themselves, a lone adventurer descends into the madness of the earth and uncovers the secrets of the past,” reads the trailer’s description. “The Ringed City is said to be at World’s End, as far as one can go…”

SPOILER ALERT: The video includes boss footage, so look away now if you like terrifying surprises.

An official press blurb touches on some of what players can expect from the expansion:

As players make their way to the fabled Ringed City they will encounter ancient beasts, a new cast of characters teetering on the edge of insanity, new armor, weapons, magic, and at the bottom of it all, a long lost city filled with new horrors for players to overcome.

Dark Souls III: The Ringed City is expected to drop on 28 March for all platforms, and will set you back a total of R161.
