I’ve talked about this one alotalready, but in case you missed it, Cayne is a standalone, sort of companion game to Cape Town indie developer The Brotherhood’s other sci-fi horror adventure game Stasis. I also did some writing work on the game, but I’ve not had an opportunity to actually finish playing it yet so I don’t even know if I made any spelling mistakes. The suspense is real.
“In this grim return to the Stasis universe, expectant protagonist, Hadley, wakes up in a facility. Where is she? Why is she there? And, why do they want her baby?” asks the press stuff, like it doesn’t already know every revolting detail.
Cayne features a classic, old skool kool isometric perspective with 3D characters, and lots of pointing and clicking and shrieking.
It’s totally free to download and play on PC, Mac, and Linus, so you’ve got no excuses, and drops tonight at 20:00 local time. Queue it up.
