Ghost Recon Wildlands is getting an open beta next week

Earlier this month, Matthew, Tarryn, and Gareth had a blast playing Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands during its closed beta. Now it seems Ubisoft is ready to let the rest of us get in on the action as the game will receive an open beta starting on 23 February and lasting until 27 February (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS! – Ed). Full details and a new trailer below.

The announcement comes via the game’s official website, where the developer revealed that players will be able to preload the beta on PC, PS4, and XBO starting on 20 February. The blurb also revealed that two of the game’s 21 provinces will make their way into the beta, namely Itacua and Montuyoc. Itacua serves as a sort of tutorial area preparing players for the more unforgiving province of Montuyoc. Both are detailed here.

Finally, the post also includes a much less biased list of system requirements, as well as this pretty impressive trailer.

Full game’s out on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on 7 March.
