Ghost Recon Wildlands’ launch trailer includes dubstep, badassery

Today’s the day, and what a fine day it is. Ghost Recon Wildlands is finally here, and not even a formal complaint from Bolivia’s government can dampen all the hype.

To help celebrate the occasion, Ubisoft has released a flashy launch trailer that shows off key game features like exploding cars, more exploding cars, even more exploding cars, exploding choppers, exploding ground, a beard, and most important of all, some SICK dubstep.

“The Santa Blanca drug cartel has transformed the beautiful South American country of Bolivia into a perilous narco-state, leading to lawlessness, fear, and rampant violence,” says the description. “Now only the Ghosts, an elite US Special Forces team, can save the country from complete collapse.”

“The Wildlands are a living, reactive open-world environment where every individual choice you make has far reaching consequences. With the Faction Influence System, turn each dangerous situation into an advantage by seizing control of the cartel’s traffic patterns, patrols, and movements.”

The game has a sizeable amount free and premium post-launch content on the way, and it’s all detailed right here. If you’re still unsure about whether or not to get the game, check out our hands-on impressions.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is out right now for PC, PS4 and XBO.
