And that’s okay, because Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer was super rad, if somewhat unexpectedly so. Now, ahead of the game’s launch next week (NEXT WEEK, YOU GUYS), BioWare has finally shown us more of Mass Effect: Andromeda‘s multiplayer stuff, featuring “new adventures and further challenges beyond the single-player campaign”. Get hype.
The video properly introduces the game’s co-op survival mode, which launches with more than 25 different kits and 40 upgradeable weapons, plus characters from both the Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies to choose from. “Each has a unique set of skills and abilities suited to different play styles,” the video explains.
The game ships with five maps, with additional content drops coming in free later on.
