After enjoying nearly a billion years (give or take) of iOS exclusivity, Nintendo’s “Mario game that you can play with one hand” will finally make its Android debut later this week, Nintendo revealed via Twitter.
Super Mario Run will grace the
vastly superior Android platform on 23 March (Thursday), and you can pre-register for it right now on the Play Store. The game will release as version 2.0, and will be free to download. After a very limited demo, you’ll be given the option to unlock the full game for a once-off payment of $9.99, or around R149.99 if it mirrors the game’s price on iOS.
