PlayStation Plus continues to disappoint with April’s lineup

PlayStation Plus’s free game offerings haven’t been all that exciting these last few months – not nearly as exciting as Xbox LIVE’s Games with Gold promos anyway – and it looks like April won’t change that.

Last month it was revealed that the stylish competitive shooter Drawn to Death would be included in the PS Plus lineup for April, and looking at the rest of the freebies, that’s about as good as it gets.

In all fairness, the two PS4 titles on offer are actually pretty sweet. Along with the aforementioned Drawn to Death, PS4 owners will be able to get their hands on the zany Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, a fantastic co-op platformer that’s near-guaranteed to end relationships.

Looking at the PS3 and PS Vita games, things take a turn for the mediocre – except for 10 Second Ninja, which is a blast.

  • Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom
  • Alien Rage – Extended Edition

PS Vita (crossbuy with PS4):

  • 10 Second Ninja
  • Curses ‘N Chaos

As always, an active PlayStation Plus membership is required to grab these games for free.
