Ghost Recon Wildlands’ Narco Road expansion adds many things, out next week

Last month Ubisoft revealed some of the post-launch content coming to Ghost Recon Wildlands over the coming months, which includes two full expansions. The first one is called Narco Road, and according to an update on the game’s official blog, it’ll arrive very soon to season pass holders.

The DLC will add new targets, vehicles, campaign and side missions, racing challenges, and more. Check it out below.

“In order to dismantle a smuggling ring led by the elusive El Invisible, you and your squad will have to infiltrate the gangs under his control and earn the respect of three new bosses,” reads the blurb. “Each boss commands a gang with its own identity, including the thrill-seeking Kamikazes, the muscle car-loving Jinetes Locos, and the Santa Muerte-obsessed Death Riders.”

Along with adding 15 more campaign missions, four side quests, and racing challenges, the expansion will also bring with it “muscle cars with nitro boosts, planes built for acrobatic flight, big chopper bikes, and hulking monster trucks.” Ah, I can taste the freedom now! Players will also be presented with four new outfits, as well as nine swanky weapons.

Narco Road will go live for season pass owners across all platforms on 18 April, and on 25 April for everyone else. You can pick it up as a standalone for $14.99 (R204).

But wait, there’s more. A free update will roll out today for consoles (and on 14 April for PC)  that will “introduce live season challenges and new rewards.” Full details on that can be found here.
