Hey, that one person who’s still playing Pokémon Go with me, I know you’re out there and I love you. Seriously though, at this point, I’m mostly sticking with Pokémon Go in the hopes that one day it’ll actually be even half of the game shown in the original trailer. But hey, until that happens, we’ve got the super-creatively named Eggstravaganza event.

Starting yesterday (13 April) and running through to 20 April, “a greater variety of pokémon can now be found in 2 km Eggs,” reads an update on the game’s official blog. Trainers will also gain more candy from each hatched egg. Niantic has also activated double XP for the duration of the event, and to increase your mad XP gains even further, lucky eggs can now be purchased for 50% off in the game’s shop.

The event probably won’t do much to bring players back into the game like the release of the second generation of pokémon in February, but for those still playing, I’m sure it’ll be a nice diversion from all of its missing features.
