Titanfall studio Respawn Entertainment has teamed up with developer Particle City and publisher Nexon to launch Titanfall Assault, a “fast and fluid real-time strategy game” featuring “epic PVP battles” for iOS and Android. I can think of worse things to do on the toilet.
“Put your skills to the test as you assemble the ultimate deck of Pilots and Titans paired into heroic duos,” reads the blurb on the game’s official website. “Collect and upgrade dozens of cards including tactical Burn Cards providing powerful battlefield support. Strategize your way to victory over enemy forces in epic PvP battles and compete for glory and rewards on the leaderboards.”
There’s not much else to go on for the moment – not even a trailer – but you can sign up on the link above for access when it’s live.
This isn’t actually the first time Titanfall has tried to drop into the mobile space. Back in September, the same dev-pub combo announced the card-based Titanfall Frontline, but the game was dumped in January after a short, and presumably uninspiring, beta period.
