“Are you ready for a hefty dose of new Far Cry adventures?” the game’s Twitter asks, revealing absolutely nothing about it whatsoever. We can cleverly surmise, however, that as a regular numbered entry in the series, it’s probably not one of the more experimental games like Far Cry Primal or Blood Dragon. That’s kind of a bummer, maybe, but every regular numbered entry in the series has been something new and unpredictable anyway.

According to a report over on Polygon, Ubisoft has confirmed that the game will be out before April 2018, so I guess we’ll find out a lot more very soon, probably at E3.
