Giblets: Red Dead Redemption 2 launch moseys into 2018

Rockstar’s cowboy-’em-up sequel won’t make it out of the developer’s corral this year, apparently, because “some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans”. The game is expected to release in early 2018 now, or at least until it’s pushed back again. Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen.

“We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes,” the studio explained in an update on its website. “But we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready.”

We get some new screenshots as a consolation prize, though, so giddy up and hit the jump for those.
