GTFO is a co-op survival horror game with an unambiguous name

I mean, it’s obviously “get toffee fudge, okay”, because imagine if somebody brought me some other kind of ice-cream instead? That’s too much survival horror even for me. Anyway, ex-Payday designer Ulf Andersson’s new studio 10 Chambers Collective has announced its debut game GTFO, a “hardcore co-op action horror FPS” for up to four players who must “explore hostile and terrifying environments where, in an instant, you are thrown from edge-of-your-seat suspense to frantic action”. I dunno how the ice-cream fits in, but this one time when I was a kid, I dropped my ice-cream on the floor just as my mom gave it to me and “edge-of-your-seat suspense to frantic action” describes that exactly.

“When we started 10 Chambers Collective, we set out to make a game for the cooperative FPS community that would really put them to the test. A game where you don’t just depend on one another for firepower, but truly work together” explains Andersson in the press stuff.

“Every expedition in GTFO is unique and the game lets you make informed decisions on what equipment and weapons to bring – but even then survival is not guaranteed,” adds developer Simon Viklund. “GTFO throws so many curveballs and unknown factors at you that you and your team always have to stay on your toes – and the atmosphere is suffocatingly tense.”

No release date or much other info for now, but you can sign up to the game’s ambassador program over on the official website, and maybe you’ll get free ice-cream or something.
