Blizzard has confirmed that the game’s Rise of the Necromancer expansion is crawling out of its grave on Tuesday, 27 June, featuring the Necromancer class. Much like the Diablo II version, Necromancers in this sequel are into blood and bone spells, curses, and playing with a lot of rotting minions. It’s a fetish, okay, and everybody is totally consenting.

Local prices aren’t available yet, but it’s apparently $15 on PC and consoles, and also includes a new in-game pet, two additional character slots, and some other stuff. If you’ve missed out on the (definitive, I daresay) Diablo III console version entirely, a new Diablo III: Eternal Collection will also be available, bundling the original game plus both the Rise of the Necromancer and Reaper of Souls expansions, for $60.
