The first ever Rush esports extravaganza just got bigger and better…er with the announcement of AGCL’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare PS4 tournament at the NAG LAN, 21-23 July.

Registration for the event is now open, and available on a first-come, first-served basis so get in and secure the intel. Accommodation is currently limited to 16 teams of four players, but could expand to 32 if enough are entered. All players must have a valid NAG LAN ticket from Computicket.

The tournament will be played on PS4 and follows a double elimination format:

  • Friday – Group Stages
  • Saturday – Top two from group to Double Elimination Cup and bottom two from group to Double Elimination Shield
  • Sunday – Loser’s Bracket Final and Grand Final for Cup & Shield

Besides their share of a R10,000 cash prize pool sponsored by NAG for the top three teams, other prizes up for grabs are:

  • 4 x Turtle Beach 520P Wireless Headsets valued at R2,000 each (sponsored by Apex Interactive)
  • 4 x PlayStation hampers valued at R1,000 each (sponsored by Ster Kinekor Interactive)
