Steam has it. GOG has it. The PlayStation Network doesn’t have it, but probably will soon enough because Microsoft is now adding digital game gifting service to Xbox Live so you can buy games for other people and guilt them into playing with you.

Available now as a preview update to Xbox Insider program members, the new game gifting service supports Xbox One and (some) Play Anywhere titles for Windows 10 purchased through the console’s online store. According to a report over on Engadget, you simply redeem a gift code from your Xbox Live or email inbox, and shazam, now you have to play For Honor¬†every night with your 12-year old cousin or your auntie and uncle will be very cross with you.

A public launch date isn’t confirmed for the moment, but I’d expect this one out in time for the holiday season.
