If you were planning to buy Middle-Earth: Shadow of War this week, a word of caution: it needs a lot of drive space. Around 100GB, to be exact. It eclipses even the 95GB that Forza Motorsport 7 requires on Xbox One and Windows 10, and it’s way ahead of the 75GB drive space consumed by a fresh install of Grand Theft Auto V.
For those of you who are somehow buying it on the Windows Store or have it on Xbox already, just keep in mind that there’s a good chance that the download will almost certainly fail, and that it’s best advised to wait a week for the servers to recover before you attempt downloading it manually. I’m doing this for Forza 7. May Gaben have mercy on my soul.
