If you haven’t already blown your entire holiday season budget on the PlayStation Black Friday megadeals, what about an Xbox One console at “never-seen-before” prices or some cheap games? And besides, if you spend your Christmas munnies on consoles and games now, you can’t afford to buy Quality Street and pork stuffing next month. Gaming, the healthy alternative.

Local Xbox distro Prima Interactive has announced its own Black Friday impulse-buy-o-rama, including an Xbox One S plus a free controller at R3499 for the 500 GB console or R4499 for the 1 TB console, available at participating online and regular retailers only on 24 November. Over on Xbox Live, you can save cash and festive fatastrophe on games like Assassin’s Creed: Origins, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and Wolfenstein 2, with specials already open to Xbox Live Gold subscribers (with bonus discounts to jingle your bells!) and starting tomorrow for everybody else.
