There’s not a whole lot more to say about that, besides the headline, to be honest. But there have been rumours doing the rounds for a while now, regarding a Catherine remaster, sequel, something, and now we’ve got the confirmation we’ve been waiting for.
The announcement comes via a teaser website, and while we don’t have much in the way of specifics, we know that Catherine Full Body is coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, with a broadcast of sorts coming on 22 December to tell us more. According to Famitsu reports, picked up by Kotaku, there will be a third Catherine to add to the two from the original game, and the game will be created under the charge of Persona 5 director Katsura Hashino.
The puzzle platformer had a unique adult tone when it came out in Japan on Xbox 360 and PS3, back in 2011, and quickly garnered a cult following when it made its way to Western markets the following year. Keep an eye on Atlus’s Nico Nico channel on 22 December to find out what to expect from the remake.
